Community Outreach - SSAFA Cyprus provides lifelong support to those who are serving or have served in the British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Marines or the Royal Air Force, and to their families. - Assistance is provided to relieve suffering and distress amongst veterans and their families. - Provides Community Health Services to the military community and their families in British Forces Cyprus. Charity & Fundraising - SSAFA is the Armed Forces charity. - Volunteers help navigate the military and civilian charity sector by preparing applications for assistance to appropriate benevolent funds. Volunteer Opportunities - The Cyprus Branch has a small number of dedicated Casework & Branch Volunteers across the island. - The branch has 40 trained caseworkers across the island to assist veterans in their time of need. - Volunteering provides an opportunity to meet inspiring people, gain new skills, and make a difference in the lives of those who have dedicated their lives to protect and serve the country. Advocacy & Awareness - Committed to being there for serving personnel, veterans, and their families whenever or wherever they need them. Facilities & Locations - Operates across the island of Cyprus. - Cannot provide financial assistance to clients in Northern Cyprus due to international banking restrictions, but can provide general information remotely.
