Community Outreach * The Karaiskakio Foundation has organized an internationally recognized Bone Marrow Donor Registry. * They have a Public Umbilical Cord Blood Registry. * They operate a network of modern diagnostic laboratories to support patients with leukemia and other hematological malignancies. * The project enhances collaboration between Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot Communities through the Cyprus Bone Marrow Donor Registry. * The Kemal Saracoglu Association (a Turkish Cypriot NGO) actively supports the Foundation in contacting donors and helping Turkish Cypriot patients and physicians to access the services of the Foundation. * The Foundation provides diagnostic and donor search services free of charge to all leukemia and cancer patients from both the Greek and the Turkish Cypriot community. * Promotion of public awareness on cancer.
