Cultivation and Farming Practices - We work with local suppliers to source the freshest and most authentic ingredients. Processing and Manufacturing - Our bakers start work before the sun rises each day to ensure that every batch is as fresh as possible. - The warm smell of baking often escapes onto the street before we've even opened. - We provide handmade products baked daily to perfection. - Our twisted tahini pie is dipped twice into a special syrup immediately after it comes out of the oven. - Our apple pie includes sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon, with a bit of sugar added on top for a caramelized flavor. Quality, Safety, and Regulation - We adhere to the highest standards of hygiene, especially during the COVID-19 outbreak. - The health and safety of our customers and employees is our top priority. - Health and safety procedures are strictly followed and monitored daily. - We follow daily updates and recommendations from the Cypriot government and World Health Organization for health & safety protocols. - Employees are informed to stay healthy or stay home if unwell. - Employee temperatures are monitored daily before entering the bakery. - All employees are provided with protective equipment such as gloves and masks. - All employees were tested negative for COVID-19 by NIPD Genetics using Real-Time PCR (RT-qPCR) methodology. - Our bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily, with increased cleaning and disinfecting frequency (every 2-3 hours). - Automatic dispensers of antiseptic liquids are available for employees throughout the bakery. - A maximum of 5 customers are allowed in the bakery at any given time. - Customers are instructed at the entrance to disinfect their hands with antiseptic liquid and wear single-use gloves. - All bakery products are sealed in bags or protected behind closed cabinets.
