Cybersecurity Solutions * Responsible for implementing the European NIS Directive, focusing on improving and maintaining high levels of cybersecurity for operators of essential services and critical information infrastructure entities in Cyprus. * Covers sectors such as energy, water, transport, health, banking, financial market infrastructures, and digital infrastructures. * Also addresses digital service providers established in Cyprus, including online search engines, online marketplaces, and cloud computing services. * Includes the National CSIRT for cybersecurity incident response. * Develops the National Cybersecurity Strategy. * Operates as the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre and National Cybersecurity Certification Authority. Risk Assessment * Conducts Cybersecurity Maturity Assessments for businesses and citizens. Emergency Response * Manages the National CSIRT for responding to cybersecurity incidents. Training & Certifications * Provides a platform (GetSafeOnline) to check website security and detect phishing. * Offers the ICT Academy to empower individuals and shape the future. * Conducts awareness and sensitization actions for Cybersecurity, including for children. * Acts as the National Cybersecurity Certification Authority. Consulting & Compliance * Provides information and guidance on the NIS Directive and NIS2 Directive implementation. * Offers guidance to operators of essential services, critical information infrastructure entities, digital service providers, and electronic communication providers in Cyprus. * Facilitates public consultations and co-funded projects related to cybersecurity.
