Community Outreach - CIWOT helps the local community. - Members can contribute by raising funds for worthy causes and providing services or education. - We organise events and projects to raise funds for our chosen charities. - Some members offer ‘Volunteer Hours’ to charities or other projects. Membership & Participation - We are women from many countries who are English speaking and live in Cyprus, in or around Limassol. - Membership subscription fee is €35 per year. - We have a general meeting for members once a month to share ideas and plan our projects. - Involvement in CIWOT is a very fulfilling way to achieve service to your community, grow as an individual, and gain the friendship of women who share similar interests. Religious Services Educational Programs - We offer courses to learn new skills. - We offer workshops and lectures – calling on the expertise of individual members or from visiting experts. - The "Empowered Project" develops an innovative training course to empower women for better employment, co-sponsored by the European Union Erasmus+ program. - Training modules can be found at: https://platformempowered.org/courses/ Charity & Fundraising - Each year we select two charities to be our primary focus. - We volunteer to raise money or donate time to local charities. - We support "Room of Hope," which provides holistic support for vulnerable people in Cyprus, especially women saved from human trafficking. - Your donations will go to our chosen charities....
