Funding and Finance - Non-profit organization. - Receives support from the Deputy Ministry of Culture of Cyprus, the European Commission Office in Cyprus, and Total Energies. Administration & Management - The Alliance Française de Limassol is a non-profit organization. - The new committee of the Alliance Française of Limassol is composed of: Ms. Niki Papadopoulou-Papa (President), Ms. Androula Boularan (Vice-President), Ms. Andri Evripidou (Vice-President), Ms. Andri Demetriou (Treasurer), Ms. Marianna Smila (Assistant Treasurer), Ms. Stalo Michailidou (Secretary), and Ms. Elena Savva (Assistant Secretary). - The private Alliance Française of Limassol Institute receives support from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth. - Objective: to provide free, high-quality entertainment to the Limassol public and actively support the local music scene. - Organization: Alliance Française of Limassol, with the support of the Deputy Ministry of Culture of Cyprus, the European Commission Office in Cyprus, and Total Energies as communications sponsor via Canal 6. Global and International Education - Part of the global network of over 800 institutions (133 countries), led by the Fondation des Alliances Françaises. - To disseminate the French language and culture. - To support and promote Franco-Cypriot relations. - To raise awareness of French and Francophone cultures. - To prepare students for admission to French or Francophone universities. General Information - A cultural and linguistic organization since 1963. - We regularly organize events focused on French culture, an ideal way to practice the language and learn more about the famous French culture. - The Alliance Française of Limassol invites you to celebrate music in all its diversity during the Fête de la Musique, on Saturday, June 21, 2025! - This major event, now a must-see, will take place in several locations throughout the city, including its historic center, the Molos promenade, and Limassol Castle Square. - Artists from a variety of styles will perform: jazz, rock, classical, electronic, world music... There will be something for everyone! - Since 1987, the Alliance Française of Limassol has organized the Fête de la Musique. - The Fête de la Musique program includes: the traditional polyphonic choir "Lalia," the Helim Duet (classical music), Chunky Funky, Ermis Michail Quartet, Batukinio (percussion), Buzz Ayaz, Dimitris Mesimeris, and Avant Tout (contemporary French music).
